You cannot change the default color for composing Mail; it's always black. After you're done composing, you can select the text and change the color, but it still won't be the default color, and there's no assurance that your recipient will see the color at all, since each mail client is different.
If there is no 'No Color' option for font color settings,I think it is not satisfactory. When I pasted some html text, such as syntax highlight code, all the font color will be replaced to the settings. For Example: The following orginal text that I want to paste into mail body: SELECT DBNAME ( ius. databaseid ) AS Database , OBJECTNAME ( ius. objectid ) AS TableName , MAX ( ius. lastuserlookup ) AS lastuserlookup , MAX ( ius.

lastuserscan ) AS lastuserscan , MAX ( ius. lastuserseek ) AS lastuserseek FROM sys.dmdbindexusagestats AS ius WHERE ius. databaseid = DBID AND ius. objectid = OBJECTID ( 'Person' ) GROUP BY ius. databaseid , ius.
objectid ; But when I pasted this into maill, will be formated to following: SELECT DBNAME (ius. databaseid ) AS Database, OBJECTNAME (ius. objectid ) AS TableName , MAX(ius. lastuserlookup ) AS lastuserlookup , MAX(ius. lastuserscan ) AS lastuserscan , MAX(ius. lastuserseek ) AS lastuserseek FROM sys.dmdbindexusagestats AS ius WHERE ius.

databaseid = DBID AND ius. objectid = OBJECTID ('Person' ) GROUP BY ius. databaseid , ius.
objectid.
